Katrina - Reception Team Lead

Receptionist at Prince George Veterinary Hospital

Katrina joined our team in May 2017. She was born and raised in Prince George; graduating from DP Todd. She then lived and worked in Europe for four and a half years while completing Midwifery training.

Katrina worked here in 2012 as a ward attendant prior to enrolling in the Animal Health Technology program; graduating in 2014 from the Grande Prairie Regional College - Fairview Campus. She worked as a Registered Veterinary Technologist in a mixed animal practice in Alberta for a few years before moving back to Prince George to change things up.

In her spare time she enjoys yoga, cooking, gardening, reading, travelling, photography and going to the lake.










Katie - Reception

Katie joined our team in July 2019. Katie was born and raised in England, moving to Canada in 2007.  She has worked as an X-ray and MRI technologist in England, Vancouver and Penticton, as well as while travelling in Australia and Africa.

Katie realized that her passion lies in working with animals and has worked with dog boarding and daycare as well as some dog grooming before joining the Prince George Veterinary Hospital.

Katie likes to travel and has even climbed Mt Kilimanjaro!  Her hobbies are walking dogs, reading and relaxing with the cat.











Tammy - Reception/Pharmacy

Tammy was born and raised in Prince George, and graduated from Duchess Park Secondary School. She started working at the Prince George Veterinary Hospital in 2009. While not at work she enjoys spending time with her family camping, fishing, reading, and walking. Her furry family includes three cats, three dogs and two guinea pigs.

Olivia - Reception

Olivia joined our team in October 2019 and is loving her job here. Seeing the progress patients make on their road to recovery is rewarding to her.

When Olivia is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her dog, Lila. She is from Vancouver Island originally and is spending lots of time exploring and traveling around Prince George.

Kenna - Reception

Kenna joined our team in September 2018. She was born in Kitimat and moved to Prince George in 2014 for school, graduating from UNBC in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science. She lives with four ferrets, two sugar gliders and a cat. In her free time she enjoys reading, bird watching and exploring in the outdoors. Kenna is in the process of becoming a veterinary technologist.

Taylor - Reception

Taylor joined our team in July 2020; pictured here with her family dog Pebbles. Growing up in the small town of Vanderhoof, Taylor remembers animals always making up a huge part of her life. From memories on her grandparent’s farm, as well as years in 4-H raising swine and sheep, to her childhood horses and family dogs. Outside of work, Taylor loves sunny lake days, traveling, and surrounding herself with family, friends, and as many dogs as possible. 


Lia - Pharmacy

Lia has worked at the hospital since 2012. She has been a ward attendant, receptionist, exam room assistant, and is currently in pharmacy. Lia has 3 medically challenging dogs - a blind JRT-mix named Abbie, a JRT-mix named Izzie, and she is pictured with 13 year old Stella. 

In her spare time she loves to golf, read, bake and laze in the sun. In winter Lia hibernates!





Rebecca - Exam Room Assistant

Rebecca-PGVetRebecca joined our team in December 2016. She was born and raised in Prince George and is shown with her dog, Rex. Rebecca enjoys travelling, watching movies, reading and baking when she is not caring for your pet(s) and the hospital.

Larissa - Exam Room Assistant

Larissa joined our team in August 2019. She was born and raised in Vanderhoof, BC with plenty of dogs, cats, horses and cattle which unearthed her interest in animals. She now owns a home with her partner in Prince George which also houses her rabbit, Luna, a Dachshund named Minnie and her two goldfish, Fred and George. When she isn't at work, she loves kayaking, hiking, gardening, horseback riding and home care.


Courtney - Reception

Courtney joined our team in May 2017. She grew up in Prince George. Courtney lives with her dog "Brinley" (the black & tan dog in the photo) and also spends time with Brinley's friend, "Doug" (the white dog). She also lives with a feline named "Moo"; Brinley's best friend. Courtney enjoys reading, writing and nature walks. 

Courtney worked full time in the past but is currently attending school and working on a casual basis.

Caitlyn - Social Media

Caitlyn grew up in Fort St. John and moved to Prince George to complete a Bachelor of Sciences at UNBC, majoring in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. With this, she hopes to pursue a career in medicine as well as travel the world. During her spare time, Caitlyn enjoys riding her horse, Skinner, reading, drawing, adventuring and volunteering.
